Heboris U.E. Artpack 0.02 by mf (mufunyo)

Note: this zip contains only files that changed since 0.01. Apparently a few people liked my pack so I've updated it with a smoother bg fade in/out graphic (again, only works for DX9 build) and tetromino entry sounds ripped from TAP (blockse). If you appreciate my work and/or have suggestions, please leave a note on the forum or on #arika. Thanks!

-----------------------
Here's some replacement graphics and sounds for Heboris U.E.
The creation of this pack stems from the fact that I wouldn't be able to play Heboris U.E. for long stretches of time with sound turned on without going batshit insane. A lot of the sounds are too cheap, too loud or simply inappropriate for the event they represent (in my opinion). The cheap Bryce/Terragen backgrounds were also a reason to start customising my Heboris copy.

Most of the sounds were taken from Tetris the Grand Master 2, others are morphs of the original Heboris sounds, and some are modifications of sounds available from "Free sound effects" websites. If some sounds are incorrect for the event they represent in Heboris (for instance, if "Gon" should be "Kon"), please tell me, as I haven't played much TGM2 myself (I can't get the emulator to run the game realtime so it's a frustrating experience), and I used guesswork to determine some of the sounds. I know that the "Kettei" sound is actually the coin insert sound from TGM2, but that was for two reasons: Heboris isn't coin-op to begin with, and TGM2 doesn't have a "confirm" sound. It was the best replacement I could find.

A lot of the backgrounds are from the IIchan.net Yuushoh (scenic route) imageboard, some are from my own wallpaper collection and other random places.

TIP: Do not use the rollmark graphic if you use the SDL version of Heboris-C++. SDL does not support the alpha channel used, the DX9 version does.

To-Do list and things I'm not satisfied with:

- Better "Kettei" sound
- Better "Cheer" sound
- Better title background
- Loading screen replacements

If you can help with the above to-do list, great! Drop me a line at the tetrisconcept.com forums.
